puppies will be puppies

David has been out of work for almost a year now, so rarely has there been a day the puppies have been home alone all day long. Yesterday was one of those days, and I had to run home to get something I had left. When I opened the door, this is what I saw:

Pippa & Chaco

Caught red-handed. Puppies are like little kids, they’ll get into anything when they are bored. Looks like they were having a big party!

Pippa: He did it!! Chaco: She did it!!

Of course no one wanted to take the blame. I’m sure it was a mutual destruction. I began to clean up the mess, and realized what they had destroyed:

David can honestly say, “the dog ate my resume.” David was out of the house for a little while this morning, and the little monsters (said lovingly of course!) were home alone once more. Again, I stopped by, and this is what I found:

I loved these sandals. I put the surviving sandal beside the devoured one so you could get the whole picture. The scary thing is, I conscienciously put my sandals up, on top of a chest, to stay out of their little paws and jaws.

Puppies will eat anything, and everything. Even resumes. And your favorite shoes.

  1. Mumsy and Chancy says:

We think those puppies are thinkin that they like daddy to be home…so tear up that resume. And if we chew up mama’s sandal maybe she will stay home with us too. Hugs and nose kisses

  2. Oh yes indeed they will. Nothing is safe unless it is behind lock and key! : ) And then with some pups you may still need to worry. : )
